Giza Systems Group of Companies announced end of March that the company has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of HF Giza Systems Group, including all of its subsidiary companies in Egypt, Sub-Saharan Africa and the US.
“We believe that this acquisition will strengthen our position in our markets, and will allow us to provide a more integrated portfolio to cater to our clients’ success,” commented Shehab El Nawawi, Chairman and CEO at Giza Systems Group of Companies.
As of the acquisition, HF Giza Systems has been integrated into Giza Systems to form the new Smart Buildings Line of Business, which now aims to combine, deploy and deliver the most comprehensive building management solutions portfolio for its clients.
El Nawawi also announced that Mostafa Ashour is to take on the responsibility of head of this new LoB. He stated, “We have every confidence in Mostafa’s ability and commitment, and we look forward to building a strong and formidable team under his leadership.”
The addition of HF Giza Systems’ broad-based family of products and already established operations in the different geographies enhances Giza Systems’ strong position in the smart solutions integration market. Furthermore, Giza Systems’ in-depth expertise in industry specific technology solutions in the different fields, as well as its subsidiaries, essentially generates complementary demand, which creates a wider customer base and increases intake of mega projects.
With an extensive presence in Africa through offices in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Nigeria, the acquisition that started in 2013 has opened up these markets to Giza Systems’ complete offerings portfolio. This fact coupled with Giza Systems’ geographic footprint in the Middle East, which surely accelerates and ensures the growth of the company and position it as global integrated smart solutions provider.
